3BOpenDoc Migrate - Bulk Conversion of Legacy Documents

3BOpenDoc Migrate enables businesses to repurpose high volumes of documents for new applications and services through the conversion of batches of documents to new formats.

Using the industrial strength 3BOpenDoc product at its heart, 3BOpenDoc Migrate is fast, scalable and extremely reliable.

Archive files to PDF/a and OpenDocument format

As well as migrating files to a different format for a new application, 3BOpenDoc Migrate can help ensure that documents are accessible in years to come by providing support for both the PDF/a format and OpenDocument format.

How bulk conversion works

3BOpenDoc runs on the server with the Migrate Utility, a small command line tool, running on a machine that has access to the documents to be converted. No integration work is required and the Migrate Utility has a few simple configuration options to identify the files to be converted, the conversion to be performed on the files, and the output folder for the converted files.

The Migrate Utility takes all files with the defined extensions and sends them to the 3BOpenDoc server to be converted. Converted files are then placed into the output directory.
