3BView attends FOSE 2007 with UK Trade & Investment

3BView accompanies UKTI to the USA's largest conference and exhibition for military and government technology experts

St Helens, UK and Royersford, PA – March 19th, 2007 – 3BView Ltd, a software development company specializing in content compliance and security, today announced that it will be accompanying UK Trade & Investments (UKTI) to FOSE 2007 to be held from March 20-22, 2007 at the Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. FOSE brings together military and government technology specialists to discuss and view the latest in Hardware Systems, Application Software, Security/Biometrics, Wireless/Mobile Computing and Networking Infrastructure. 3BView will be delivering product demonstrations and can be found with the UKTI at booth #337.

UKTI is the Government organization that supports companies in the UK doing business internationally and oversees enterprises seeking to locate or expand in the UK. With commercial teams based in offices around the world, and a network of specialists throughout the UK, UKTI is uniquely positioned to help businesses across national boundaries. Along with 3BView, there will be several British technology companies exhibiting with the UKTI at FOSE. Cathy Brode, founder and CEO of 3BView, is looking forward to the opportunity to showcase the company's solutions in an ideal venue. "Information exchange and content security are major issues for all organizations, but especially those operating in a government setting," Cathy said. "Whether you are a small local agency or a large federal organization dealing with national security risks, the aim is the same – to be able to confidently communicate electronically without the worry of information leaks."

Electronic collaboration has replaced the traditional paper and fax method for commenting on and approving documents in most industries. Word processing applications now include rich functionality to aid electronic collaboration. Unfortunately this comes with a security risk. 3BView will be showcasing its solutions that secure electronic mechanisms such as email and extranets that are heavily used for collaboration in generating documents. 3BClean server-based metadata scrubber for documents and content, and 3BSafe, a selection of applications that enable organizations to automate the security of inbound and outbound email content and documents will both be demonstrated at the event.
